Last updated: 13 January 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Trippbo’s websites, mobile websites, and apps (together, the “Site”) and the travel booking and related services we provide through the Site (the “Service”).
By using the Site and/or making a booking, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site.

2) Important overview: our role
Trippbo provides an online platform that helps you search, compare, and book travel services offered by third parties (“Travel Service Providers” or “Providers”), such as accommodation providers (hotels, aparthotels, guesthouses), airlines, car rental companies, transfer operators, and other travel suppliers.
2.1 Intermediary (agent) role
Unless the Site clearly states otherwise, Trippbo acts as an intermediary between you and the Provider. This means:
• The Provider is responsible for delivering the booked service (for example the hotel stay or the flight).
• Your booking is governed by these Terms and the relevant Provider’s terms and rules (including cancellation policies, check-in rules, fare rules, house rules, etc.) shown before you complete your booking and/or included in your booking confirmation.
2.2 Bookings made on third-party sites
If you are redirected from the Site to a third-party website to complete a booking, your contract is with that third party, and their terms apply. Trippbo is not responsible for bookings completed outside our checkout.

3) Eligibility, customer responsibilities, and communication
3.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into legally binding agreements to use the Service.
3.2 Accurate information
You are responsible for providing complete and correct information for all travelers/guests, including names, dates, contact details, and any document details required. For many services (especially flights), names must match passports/ID exactly.
3.3 Booking for others
If you book on behalf of other travelers, you confirm you have their authorization and that you have informed them of the applicable terms (including Provider rules and restrictions). The primary booker remains responsible for payment and communications.
3.4 Email and notices
We may send important booking information by email (including changes, confirmations, and instructions). You are responsible for ensuring that:
• your email address is correct, and
• your settings allow receipt of our messages (including checking spam/junk folders).
We are not responsible if you do not receive messages due to circumstances outside our reasonable control (e.g., incorrect email provided, spam filtering, mailbox limits).
________________________________________
4) Prohibited use (fair use and security)
You must not:
• make fraudulent, speculative, or false bookings;
• use robots, scrapers, spiders, or other automated tools to access or extract data from the Site without written permission;
• bypass security controls or access restrictions;
• overload, disrupt, or interfere with the Site;
• frame or mirror the Site on another website without permission;
• use the Service unlawfully or to infringe third-party rights.
We may refuse service, cancel suspicious bookings, or restrict accounts if we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse, or violations of these Terms.

5) Search results, ranking, and sponsored listings
You can sort and filter search results (e.g., by price, reviews, location, amenities). If you do not choose, results are shown using a default order based on relevance factors such as availability, price, popularity, and quality indicators.
Some listings may be sponsored and will be clearly labeled (e.g., “Ad” or similar).

6) Pricing, taxes, and obvious errors
6.1 Pricing
Prices may change until your booking is confirmed. The total price and inclusions are shown before you finalize payment.
6.2 Taxes and local charges
Some bookings include taxes; others may exclude charges payable at the property or local level (e.g., tourist/city taxes, resort fees, club cards, environmental fees). Where the Provider supplies such information to us, we aim to display it before booking, but the Provider may require payment on-site and may change these charges.
6.3 Obvious errors and technical problems
We reserve the right to correct pricing or content errors and to cancel bookings affected by obvious errors (for example a clearly unrealistic price) or technical issues.
If an obvious error occurs, we may:
• offer you the option to proceed under corrected terms, or
• cancel the booking and refund amounts paid for that booking.
We are not obliged to provide services at an incorrect (lower) price if the error should reasonably have been obvious.

7) Payments, verification, and fraud prevention
Payment methods are shown during checkout and may vary by market/product. We may use third-party payment processors.
To prevent fraud and protect customers, we may request additional verification (e.g., proof of identity, proof of payment method ownership, billing address confirmation). If verification fails or we reasonably suspect unauthorized payment activity, we may cancel the booking and refund according to applicable law and relevant Provider rules.
________________________________________
8) Booking confirmation and documents
A booking is not guaranteed until you receive a written booking confirmation (email and/or in-account).
• Some services confirm instantly; others require Provider confirmation.
• If we cannot confirm a booking, we will cancel and refund any payment collected for that booking (subject to applicable law and payment processing timelines).
You are responsible for checking your booking confirmation promptly and contacting support if any details appear incorrect.

HOTEL TERMS (Accommodation)
9) Hotel/Accommodation bookings – Provider rules apply
Your accommodation booking is governed by:
• the Provider’s terms (house rules, check-in/out, guest policies, deposits, ID requirements, damage policies, etc.), and
• the cancellation/refund conditions shown at checkout and in your booking confirmation.
9.1 Deposits, pre-authorizations, and on-site payments
Many properties require a credit card at check-in and may:
• pre-authorize a deposit for incidentals, or
• charge mandatory local fees,
as permitted by their rules. Trippbo does not control these property policies.
9.2 Special requests
Special requests (e.g., bed type, late check-in) are not guaranteed unless explicitly confirmed by the Provider.
10) Hotel cancellation policy
10.1 The policy shown at checkout controls
Before booking, the Site displays the applicable cancellation policy. By completing your booking, you confirm that you have read and accepted it.
10.2 “No Free Cancellation”
If your booking displays “No Free Cancellation”, the booking is non-refundable or otherwise restricts refunds. If you cancel or do not show up, you may be charged up to the full amount allowed under the Provider’s policy, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
10.3 “Free cancellation until [deadline]”
If your booking displays “Free cancellation until [deadline]”, you may cancel without penalty only if the cancellation is successfully submitted before that deadline, using the method described in your booking confirmation (e.g., your booking page/account/cancellation link). After the deadline passes, cancellation may become non-refundable or subject to charges under the Provider’s policy.
10.4 Time zone
Unless stated otherwise, cancellation deadlines are interpreted in the local time of the property. If you are unsure, you should cancel well in advance and keep proof of cancellation confirmation.
10.5 No-show
If you do not check in (“no-show”), the Provider may charge penalties up to the full amount as permitted by the Provider’s policy.
11) Problems at the property (complaints)
If you experience a problem during your stay, you should notify the Provider promptly (front desk/host) and contact Trippbo support as soon as reasonably possible so we can assist. Waiting until after checkout may limit available remedies.

FLIGHTS / TRANSPORT12) Flights and transport services – intermediary role
Where flight/transport bookings are offered, Trippbo generally acts as an intermediary. The operating carrier is responsible for the service and applies its conditions of carriage, fare rules, and operational decisions (schedule, cancellations, baggage handling, boarding rules).
12.1 Names, documents, and check-in
You are responsible for ensuring traveler names match passports/IDs and for meeting check-in/boarding deadlines. Many airlines require online check-in and may charge fees for airport check-in.
12.2 Schedule changes and disruptions
Carriers may change schedules or cancel services. You should re-check schedules before travel and follow carrier instructions.
12.3 Separate tickets and connections
If an itinerary consists of separate tickets, each ticket may be treated independently by carriers. You are responsible for allowing sufficient connection time and meeting entry/transit requirements.
________________________________________
CAR RENTAL / TRANSFERS / OTHER SERVICES
13) Car rental, transfers, and other third-party services
Where offered, these services are provided by third-party Providers and subject to their rules (age requirements, deposits, insurance requirements, pickup times, cancellation rules, etc.). You must review Provider terms carefully before booking.
________________________________________
14) Reviews and ratings
Guest review scores and written reviews are based on traveler feedback where available. Star ratings and quality indicators may come from Providers and other sources and can vary by country. You are responsible for reviewing listing details to ensure suitability.
________________________________________
15) Chargebacks and payment disputes
15.1 Contact us first
If you believe a charge is incorrect or there is a booking issue, you agree to contact Trippbo first and allow us a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank/card issuer.
15.2 Evidence and cooperation
If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated, you authorize us to share relevant booking and transaction records with payment processors and card issuers, including:
• booking details and confirmations,
• the cancellation/refund policy accepted at checkout (e.g., “No Free Cancellation” or “Free cancellation until [deadline]”),
• communications and support history,
• verification/transaction data reasonably required to respond to the dispute.
15.3 Disputes inconsistent with accepted policies
Where a dispute is based on expectations that conflict with the policy shown and accepted at booking (including non-refundable bookings, late cancellations, no-shows, or property rules disclosed at booking), we may contest the dispute using the records above.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights you may have under applicable law.
15.4 Impact of disputes on bookings
If a chargeback is filed, we may, where permitted and necessary to prevent further loss:
• pause support actions that require payment finality until resolution, and/or
• where the Provider permits, cancel affected bookings (which may result in loss of the reservation).
We may also restrict accounts if we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.
________________________________________
16) Liability and disclaimers
Trippbo will provide the Service with reasonable care and skill.
Because Travel Services are supplied by Providers, Trippbo is not responsible for the Provider’s acts, omissions, or failure to provide services, except where Trippbo is directly at fault under applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law:
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., lost profits, missed opportunities).
• Our liability for direct losses caused by our proven breach of these Terms may be limited to the amount you paid to us for the affected booking.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
________________________________________
17) Force majeure
We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, war, terrorism, government actions, major infrastructure failures, labor disputes).
________________________________________
18) Privacy and data protection
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data.
________________________________________
19) Intellectual property
The Site and its content (text, graphics, logos, software) are owned by or licensed to Trippbo. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or exploit the Site content commercially without our prior written permission.
________________________________________
20) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms by posting an updated version on the Site. Changes take effect when posted. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
________________________________________
21) Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by Estonian law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you may also have the right to use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform.
________________________________________
22) Language and precedence
If these Terms are translated, the English version may be used for interpretation to the extent permitted by law, unless the mandatory rules in your jurisdiction require otherwise.
